Wednesday, 31 October 2001 -- Halloween
I've been living where I
am for more than two years. In 1999, I had exactly one kid show up for trick or
treating. Last year, I had almost twenty. Tonight, I had two. I wish this would
start becoming predictable. I have several pounds of leftover candy. I'll try to
get rid of it when I go out of town this weekend.
By the way, I have a
second interview on Monday. =)
Tuesday, 30 October 2001 -- Even More On Microsoft
I am absolutely elated that I no longer wotk in a network security
department. Here's
why.
Here's
why I don't use Microsoft's Passport service. I've also heard that Windows XP is
insulting. And
even respected consumer's groups such as
Consumer's Union have started to complain about what
Microsoft is doing with XP.
Monday, 29 October 2001 -- More On Microsoft
Read about the big
MSN browser
lockout.
In other news, I have an interview tomorrow. I'll keep you
posted as to how it goes.
Thursday, 18 October 2001 -- Some People Need Killing
Read why I think the RIAA should be drawn
and quartered. Here's why they should be killed!
Also, I've removed the August posts from this page and put them in an archive file.
Tuesday, 16 October 2001 -- It's Been A While
Yeah, yeah. I
haven't updated this in a while. My rent has gone up, so I've redoubled my job
search efforts.
My parents came into town, the weekend before last. We
had a chance to head up to Baltimore and visit
Lenny's Deli and have a nice corned beef sandwich. Tasty!
Here's some
cool stuff. Visit Bin Laden Liquors.
I don't think I've mentioned The Brunching
Shuttlecocks before. They're pretty damn funny. Finally, here's something
you can do with those extra CPU
cycles.
